Location: Devon County Club, 4600 Millersville Rd, Indianapolis, IN
$85 per person. $65 for racers under 18.
Registration closes on August 6 – no same day registration. Need to be registered by August 4 to be assured a tee shirt.
Pre-Race Check - In:. All team members must be present to sign waivers, pick up packets, etc... If you want to save time, print the waiver from the website and bring it with you signed. If racing with a minor make certain you bring the correct waiver (which includes a space for you to sign on their behalf).
Race Start Time: The 2019 IndyQuest Urban Adventure Race will start at 8:00AM. Please be on time. Pre-race briefing will start at 7:30 AM. This is very IMPORTANT! All racers need to start arriving to the start line at 7:50 AM for final race instructions.
Race cut-off: Will be 2:00PM. We want as many teams to finish as possible. Be aware, as in the past, teams arriving after the 2:00 PM cut-off will be penalized by losing a checkpoint for each minute late.
Post-Race Food: Each racer will get a food ticket for a free meal. Racers over 21 will get a one free beer ticket as well.
Parking: There is ample parking at Devon County Club
Weather: Weather in August is typically warm and humid. Please monitor the weather and dress appropriately. We will have medical personnel at the race, however you're ultimately responsible for yourself and your teammates. This is Adventure Racing (keyword ... Adventure), so for those that are new to the sport, you need to know and understand that it's very important that you plan accordingly with hydration and first aid needs until professional medical assistance or race staff can reach you. Since you will be racing in and around neighborhoods and business, there will be ample opportunities to find water sources.
Gear List: Please be sure to read over the gear list and make sure you have what is required. We try to keep the gear requirements to a minimum for our 'Sprint' races, but again, make sure you have what is posted on our gear list.
Paddles and PFD's: We have paddles and PFD's for teams if you don't have one. Please notify us if your team needs paddles and PFD's so we can have plenty on hand. We recommend using your own, but again, we do have plenty.
